Dollar General sent a lawyer and an engineer to the Zoning Board of Appeals to test the waters (quite literally, as it turns out) for a store to be built in Pine Plains.

Although I am no longer filming the public meetings on a regular basis, I will film those which I feel will have a particular impact on the community. Certainly, a Dollar General coming to our small rural town qualifies for coverage.

A reminder: This website does not have any official (or non-official, for that matter) relationship to the Town of Pine Plains. It is a personal documentary project as described on the right-hand sidebar. The filming and presentation of the public meetings is only for artistic purposes and is not authorized — or even recognized — by the town government.
